Life is short. It’s my mission to make every second count by doing what I love most, for the people and businesses I care about. I’m driven every day to take an empathic and holistic approach to marketing that is focused on people, connections and growth.
My writing, work and life are driven by the pure magnificence of the inland temperate rainforest in which I live, one of the only temperate rainforests on the planet, located in the southeast corner of British Columbia, Canada.

I didn’t always hike up mountains with my cat and slay crags on the daily. I’m a former city dweller from the prairies whose heart was stolen over 10 years ago by the majestic mountains of the Kootenays in British Columbia, Canada.
Since 2009, I’ve worked as a journalist, professional writer & editor, copywriter, social media manager and digital marketer for a variety of organizations, entrepreneurs and businesses that align with my passions.
But believe it or not, I’m even more obsessed with helping my clients achieve their dreams than I am about bagging peaks.

Before starting Peak to Moon Creative, I spent nearly a decade as a journalist and editor in TV, radio and print. After years of gaining valuable experience and honing my craft, I transitioned into the marketing and communications sector. I have worked for nonprofit, tourism and government organizations as well as entrepreneurs, startups and businesses in a variety of sectors in both Manitoba and British Columbia. At the core of everything I do is my passion for writing and helping entrepreneurs and organizations achieve their goals for growth and engagement.
At Peak to Moon Creative, I work with people and organizations who inspire me; people who are on a mission to create positive change in our world. My focus is on elevating and empowering entrepreneurs and businesses in British Columbia and across Canada and the United States through professional writing and editing, copywriting, digital content marketing, social media management, branding, event management and consulting.
I made the move to the Kootenay region of British Columbia in 2011 and I’m so proud to call this eclectic region home. My passion for entrepreneurship and community engagement deepens every day and I’m grateful to support a wide array of entrepreneurs, startups and businesses through my work.
Outside of the office, I’m very active and enjoy many outdoor activities in the Kootenays including rock climbing, camping, hiking and kayaking. I also love writing poetry, rapping and hiking with my cat.
